Hartford Grange - The house and farm
Hartford Grange was knocked down in 1921, when Brunner Mond & Company bought it and its associated farm, in order to build houses for its senior managers. Only its stable block, its high red-brick wall fronting Chester Road and the farmhouse remain. What was Hartford Grange like (we would love to have a photograph) and who lived there?
